We ssiled into Palace harbor and had a quick lunch at a waterfront pizzeria, rented nice bikes and over the hill to the national park. The bike trail around the 2 saltwater lakes is about 8km and very flat and smooth. Bring your swimwear as...More

Absolutely loved it here. It might not be quite as impressive as Plitvice Lakes, but I actually found it much more beautiful in Mljet as it hadn’t been completely spoilt by hoards of tourists as Plitvice sadly has. This is perhaps as it is on...More

Compared with Dugi Otok or any number of other points of natural beauty interest in Southern Dalmatia, Miljet was just alright. Of course, "alright" in Croatia is still stunning, but there are more interesting places to go and more beautiful things to see.

This place is overhyped. Pretty lakes with walkways around. But nothing special. I would suggest you spend your time on mljet visiting the small villages on coast. They are the best part.

One of the best places we visited in Croatia. Nature at its absolute best. Blue waters, forests, cycling tracks, a small monastery in the middle of the lake - you name it, it is there. One watchout - please do check the times of the...More

Sorry I can’t help you as we sailed to Polaće and never went to Pomena. The only bus we used was the National Park bus from Polaće to the actual Park itself and back. It was part of our ticket price.
