Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What can you say... God decides the best for himself..., how come all the Monasteries are 90% in unique places... Perhaps, the perfect with the Most High...!!!
You will prefer the road from the intersection of Korthio to the provincial road Batsi Chora. That is, as soon as you reach the Chora - Korthi intersection after Batsi, you will follow the road to Korthi and from there to Monastiri. We went from Chora, and not exactly from Chora, but from the cave road.
Arriving, Awe...!!!
Built in the 10th century, we worshiped the chariot of Saint Panteleimon and the icon of the Virgin Mary, two feast days of the monastery.
Thea is fantastic..., the something else...!!!
Sadly, we did not see Father Evdokimos.

Our Pater Evdokimos (the resident monk) in now well-known from visitors' reviews and increasing media coverage. As they say in Greece 'ola ta lefta' ! Literally he makes all the difference.
Whilst the monastery is a must for its views , its history , its treasures his Holiness' pasta and open hospitality makes this trip an unforgettable experience.

The monastery is very nice and well kept. Located at the top, the road indicated by the navigator coming from batsi is very tiring to do by scooter because it is dirt and very steep for 7-8 km. The road from Andros to the monastery is completely paved.
A very kind gentleman opened the doors for us to visit the church. There are peacocks, fawns and chickens, all in surreal silence. We recommend the visit.

Very nice location that you may pray! Located around 35 mins driving from Andros the temperature is around 3-4 degrees lower than Andros! It is very nice, decorated with attention to detail! It is worth visiting it!!!

Spectacular monastery with a great view over the valley. The road towards the monastery is pretty hard (parts of dirt road) but is worth to visit it.
