The trip was slow to start, 15 minutes break at the 7-11, coffee at the restaurant, as if the guide didn't want to get there too early! the river is nice and calm in the mangrove, and we slowly paddle passing through caves and lagoons, very beautiful....we also visited an amazing cave with prehistoric drawings. very interesting...after lunch we went... It was a very nice experience to make half day trip of kayaking in river Ao Thalane. We booked a full day trip at first combined with ATV, but we needed to re-book in the morning at the very last moment to half day, because of my stomach issues. The lady from the agency was very nice and it was... More

We had a great half day kayaking tour. It started out a little slow, driving around picking up other guests, waiting, etc, before we got in the water. Classical Thai style:). But once the trip got started we had no complaints and plenty of praise. The guides were good English speakers, knowledgeable and friendly. The scenery was absolutely amazing, even... More

The half day was not anything specular. The river you go down is in terrible shape (kind of gross as well). No complaints about our guide, she was great. Biggest thing to watch out for is the meals they serve. I got terrible food poisoning and my partner was also unwell. Made the rest of our travels very unpleasant.

5 of us spent amost 4000 baht to paddle across a muddy river. This was after almost 2 hour drive from Krabi Town that should have been 45 minutes. Tide too low to do ANYTHING. No cave, no wall paintings, no mangrove forests...just a short trip across a muddy river and back. Extremely disappointed and will get money back through... More

Booked a half day kayaking trip through our hotel to ao thalane. There were around 16 of us. When we got there they told us the tides were too low that day and nothing was accessible. We proceeded to kayak to a sand bar near the pier and wait there aimlessly unless the excursion time ran out and kayaked back... More

Hi, sorry that you did not have a great day. This booking was actually made through a hotel desk. At low tides, we do inform the agent that it is low and that there will be limited places able to kayak. I would have told the hotel agent this information and questioned if they would still like to make the... More

It was beautiful, but I have to to give a bad in fact a terrible review for this one because our kayaking guide did not take care of us at all. If you are looking for a short 'fun fun' kayaking experience with young children, this is definitely the WRONG experience. PLEASE DO NOT SIGN UP. At first it was... More

We did the Kayaking- ATV- elephant ride combination with Saithai mountain ATV adventure. The Kayaking part was outsourced to Kayaking discovery run by Seet south sea group. There was only 5 of us and another couple. After pick up from our Ao nang hotel at 8.15 am, we were driven in a tuk tuk transport to a pier where we... More
