This is the first mission of the California's. It is from the early 17th century. Loreto was once the capital of the California's, and so this makes it a very historic little town. The Mission was very nice, and a great area to walk around....More

Founded in 1697, Misión de Nuestra Señora de Loreto Conchó in Loreto, Mexico, is the second oldest mission. It is in magnificent shape with a beautiful chapel and altar. When visiting Loreto, do not miss seeing this mission!
