We did NOT go to the location in the city of Ensenada - we went to their beautiful new winery on Route 3 in the Valle de Guadalupe. It had an excellent tasting room and beautiful views. It was sunset by the time we found it (we drove ourselves) and we were very lucky. As nice as wineries in CA... More

This tour was booked as part of a tour from Carnival Cruise. We took a Christmas Cruise and enjoyed this portion of our tour, we tasted 4 wines, a white, a rose, two reds and an olive oil. The guide was very knowledgeable. I recommend this if you have the opportunity to book a tour that includes Bodegas de Santo... More

A vist to Valle de Guadalupe should include a stop at Santo Tomas winery. The tasting room is beautiful and the staff will serve you if you want to sit outside under the umbrellas. We stayed longer than expected because it was such a lovely setting and the wine was very tasty. I highly recommend the Cabernet Savignon to purchase.

Went to the Valle de Guadalupe over the weekend and was excited to check out Santo Tomas. The tasting room is relatively small but very nice. We arrived early enough where we thought, "perfect timing" we sat down and after about 10 minutes someone told us they'd be right with us. 20 minutes later it's like we were non existent.... More

What exceptional wines. Walked out with 6 bottles of wine. The most wine we can get back across the boarder. Edwardo was superb! No reason to go anywhere else for wine tasting!

We went on a great wine tasting experience with WHALES OF BAJA R. V. CARAVANS that included whale watching and wine tasting, the sensory wine tasting was a new type of wine tasting we had never participated in before. R.V. caravaning and wine tasting a great combo.

I took my wife to get a some wines from Bodegas de Santo Tomas. I was expecting to find someone that could advise us, gives some information on the wines, and explain the characteristics of the wines. Unfortunately, this place reminded me of a liquor store, with two workers checking out people and using the computer.

Easy location in Ensenada, if you don't have the time to explore the Guadalupe Valley or the vineyard south of Maneandero. Immaculate wine tasting room that was once the office of one of the Mexican Presidents in 1930. Still has the original floors and a huge vault of the time period. And the wines! Rich and full of heart. Don't... More

This is the oldest winery in the Baja with some wonderful history. My husband speaks Spanish, so we were able to read the signage that was only in Spanish. We also asked a number of questions about the history before a large group came in from the cruise ship. They had 4 wines to taste - 3 of them sweeter.... More
