One of my FAVORITE places to visit, buy and EAT! I love to take pictures of the various fishes, crabs, oysters, lobster, squid, sharks just bought into the market. You can pretty much name and you'll find it; depending on the season..Fresh, the smell of the ocean. There are various sea food family restaurants; which are delicious. Its worth a... More

We picked up some pulpo (octopus) and a large rockot (a red sea fish, very meaty firm white flesh. There are a lot of flies around but it's easy to pick up some fresh and good quality fish. A couple of vendors were selling fresh vegetables as well.

I have seen some fancy fish markets but never one quite like this! All the fish is very artfully and meticulously displayed. Every kind of fish you have every heard of and plenty that you haven't! They don't cook for you, but plenty of stalls around selling fish tacos, ceviche, and shrimp cocktails. If I lived near this market I... More

My wife wanted to cook crab so we went to the Fish Market. If you are visiting from a cruise ship, then no need to stop by because they will not cook your seafood. This is not one of those markets where you can buy fresh fish and they cook it for you. We were staying in a house and... More

This is a great outdoor fish market in Ensenada close to downtown and the cruise ship port too. Fund to walk through or stop off for a shrimp cocktail or ceviche cocktail.

This is something to see and do while here since there is not much after you get off the ship. They have restaurants in front of the market and many little areas with bars. They also have people selling souvenirs near by. It's cool and interesting. As far as the seafood goes it looked really good and fresh to me... More

The Market was conveniently and centrally located. Fish are fresh and the price is decent, just note that the price here is close to what price you pay at the supermarket in Los Angeles. The place was fun and the vendors are always trying to lure you to buy at their stall. Also note that you will need a place... More

Small market of fresh fish, all prices are set the same between vendors, it's all about the choice and freshness. We sampled smoked Marlin ans Tuna, sat down next door to a restrurant and had marlin and tuna tacos.. Excellent food..

We were in there on a Monday morning hoping to get fresh seafood. Don't count on it! The first two stalls on your right as entering the market from the small parking lot appear to be professional, however, here is how it works. If they size you up as tourists (gringos), they figure you're not cooking in your hotel room... More
