Tiled and/or paved walkway along the water, across the street from restaurants, shops, and hotels. Some points of interest along the way. The only issue is La Paz doesn't seem to have an ordinance or rule to clean up after your dog. Lots of families walk along here, people bicycle along here, great place to take pictures, you can walk... More

No one hassled us to invest in a time share, or to buy cheap jewelry, or to enter their restaurant for "2-for-1 drinks" A far more civilized experience !!

I enjoy a good malecon as much as the next person and I try to seek them out. The La Paz malecon is on its way to becoming something nice. The more local sculptures get involved, the more enjoyable it will be. I was struck by how close the piers for large ships were to shore, making the walk feel... More

Take the time to walk the Malecon especially at sunset. This is when the activity starts up and the beer tastes especially good.

Is where everything happens, you have everything from restaurants, bars, views, etc. You can just walk around and have a great time, there is also a line for bikes so you can have a great way to see the city.

Stroll along the Malecon and photograph the statues. Having said that, I expected it to be more beautiful than it was

There are also many small plazas and boardwalks along the way. It's a pleasant way to watch the sunset or get... More

The Malecon is perfect for anyone who enjoys walking and seeing the sites. It goes along the whole waterfront for a good 5 miles.
