We had a terrific trip with BOA, circumnavigating the island and camping on pristine beaches. We explored by hiking, snorkeling, birding, swimming, and sitting on the beach enjoying the evening. The excellent technical skills of the guides, paired with their enthusiasm and kindness, was exceptional. Guides successfully made sure all levels of paddlers could be accommodated. Their efficiency and superb cooking skills resulted in delicious healthy meals always served with a smile.

Eduoardo was an incredible host, along with Abraham his son. We snorkeled with the sea lions and after more snorkeling had an amazing lunch on Espiritu Santo. The shrimp ceviche (his grandmother's recipe!) was the best I'd every tasted - fantastic - a real highlight.Highly recommended.

Beautiful island to see from a boat, otherwise protected area. The coral reefs surrounding are amazing, and the sea is crystal clear.

We did a tour out to Espiritu Santo Island. The tour company was fine but the Mexican government is not monitoring the experience of swimming with the sea lions. Despite warnings from a trusted marine biologist/naturalist, who told us there have been incidents that include bites and regulators being ripped away from divers. we decided to try it. When we arrived there were many other boats in the area, with divers and other Snorkelers. A young pup was immediately trying to get into the boat and biting a paddle the boat driver had in the water. I asked the guide how many are allowed at a time. He responded 70 people at any one time. We entered the water and snorkeled for a short time before the guide suggested we go closer to island and go through an inlet. As we got close, 2 sea lions popped up in front of my dad and
One grabbed his arm. If she had decided to bite through with full force, it would have been a trip to the ER in Mexico. She pulled back and was tearing at his wet suit. The guide and myself approached and were able to deter her. We were also told you only have 30 minutes. (It takes 1.5 hours to get there). The question is...what if a revolving door of 70 people showed up at my house UNINVITED and UNEXPECTED! Exploitation of these animals???

This was one of the most amazing days of my life. fantastic boat ride, snorkeling, lunch on a remote beach. Incredible marine life all around you including sea lions. All of the tour operators out of Playa el Tecolote know the area well and will give you an authentic day in the life of this wonderful body of water!

Booked with Delfine tours through Mario. Tried to scam us of our deposit. We gave him 400pesos and thought we would get it back. When we were ready to board the boat he kept saying we would get it and we finally got angry and told other operators. He managed to give us back 300pesos meanwhile he had a pocket full of money. He tells you he is cheaper prices which he is but in the long run it will ruin your day as you will be begging for your $ back and wished you would have booked through a more profesional company. BEWARE OF MARIO!!

The trip to La Paz was amazing. The city is peaceful and full of warmth from locals. The beaches are clean, serene and even at 8:00 am, you can find people in the water. The weather was perfect. I stayed a couple of blocks away from El Malecón and had a great view of the Sea of Cortez from my Airbnb. I went into the city to find more authentic food spots and the prices did not disappoint. We usually spent about $35 for 5, great deal! The restaurants alongside El Malecón are also nice but a bit more pricey. There are plenty of activities that can be purchased by El Malecón. I’m already thinking of my next vacation to La Paz.
