Beautiful cathedral decorated for Christmas. Open during the day so travelers and locals can come in for a quiet look or prayer.

The best church to pray, a nice church to visit, in the center of the town, enjoy and pray! This is a blessed country!

We like churches, so visited this one. Scenic setting in the square and interesting melange of rock types to make it. Not much history available for the Spanish-challenged. Pretty plain but interesting inside. You are not here to see what churches in Spain or Italy look like. It is county-esque but sincere and nice vibes inside.

As I stayed in a hacienda two blocks away, I could hear the church bells each day. It reminded me of the cultural roots of this small ocean centered community. The Cathedral is the epicenter of community life.

This catherdral is one of the oldest in La Paz. It is beautiful and definitely a must see! The jardin across the street is a wonderful place to sit in the shade and watch the world of centro go by!

We were on a bus tour that dropped us off at the Cathedral and Plaza de la Constitucion for 15 minutes (then dumped us in a jewellery store for an hour).Impressive 19th Century mission church. Was able to take a quick look around. I liked the tower clock because it kept alive my streak-of all the tower clocks I've seen... More

The Cathedral was a stop on our walking tour with Red Travel. Our guide Hugo told the story of its architecture and construction. Worth a stop even without the tour
