We signed up for a tour while visiting Loreto from a cruise ship. It was just my husband and I and my parents for a wonderful morning boat trip, then snorkeling and lunch at Coronado Island. We had great encounters with dolphins from the boat and our guide, David, was helpful and nice. Lunch was given to us at the... More

Our group of four joined up with six others for a tour of this mission. We were picked up at our resort (Villa del Palmar) at about 0830 and dropped back off at resort about 1400 (was scheduled for 3.5 hour tour). Going long didn't really matter to any of us because we didn't have anything booked right after but... More

Our family of 7 had a fantastic half day touring Coronado Island and snorkelling in the beautiful white sand bay. We enjoyed the fabulous views of the island, sea lions and dolphins. Loved it so much we booked a second trip on their catamaran to Danzante island.

Spent half a day cruising around on this catamaran. Went to a snorkeling spot and there were lots of fish but the water was pretty cold--wrong time of year for snorkeling without a wetsuit. The crew fed us well, tasty lunch and drinks. Nice van that took us to the harbor, a few miles away.

Mario is a compelling story teller as he weaves historical and anecdotal bits into a humorous, informative narrative. My sister and I totally enjoyed the trek into the Gigante Mountains and the mission pueblo of San Javier. Esmeralda, at the downtown office, was engaging and efficient as she provided us with all the info we needed to choose Wild Loreto... More

It's weird to give a high mark to a tour........ and at the same time feeling like my life was in danger! We took the boat trip to Coronado Island with Wild Loreto. It was an unusually windy morning at the marina but we were told there would be some waves and white caps. If I'd known what that really... More

We went out on the catamaran with six other people. We had a wonderful day on the water sightseeing, visiting the Islands of Loreto. Lots of snorkeling and swimming opportunities, yummy guacamole, plenty of margaritas, sandwiches, etc. Just a great way to enjoy the beautiful pristine sea of Cortez. Mario, our guide was a delight. If you are a nature... More

There was a very large list of tours in our packet when we checked in. We decided on the San Javier Mission tour. MARIO is the best tour guide. Full of historical knowledge that he dispensed with a great sense of humor. We loved him. Mario was flexible, stopping to take little side trips that we loved. He even help... More
