We spent the day here and enjoyed ourselves. The snorkelling is decent and puffer fish make me smile........quite a few families of them just as you get to the reef. The road in is quite long and rough, I don't recommend it for young kids...More

Big bay, and excellent beach and snorkeling. The food is great as well. We usually travel the San Agustin by boat but we have taken a taxi too.

Accessible by boat or car. About 45mins from Hautulco, the last half on a dirt track. We paid 1000 peso total, from Las Brisas (further than Haultulco) - the taxi driver waited four hours for us. We arrived by 9 and left at 1. Snorkeled...More

We drove there in our rental car (a Volkswagen sedan) from Huatulco; about a 45 minute drive. You turn off the main highway onto a dirt road. It’s very bumpy and slow but also very do-able. When you get close you can turn left or...More

Beautiful beach with excellent snorkeling. Lots of restaurants with shade. Great for swimming. Cab ride from Huatulco usually runs about 600 pesos return and the cabbie will stay with you for about 3 hours. Great beach to walk along.

Stunning coral reefs here provide an amazing snorkel or dive / swim experience. We visited by boat and snorkelled with thousands of several species of colorful fish and followed a sting ray around for about 20 minutes. Lunch and drinks on the beach as well!...More

A very memorable day with my husband. We were swimming with a sting ray literally feet beneath us, blow fish and massive schools of all different types of fish all around us, my only regret was bout having an underwater camera with me.

As others have written, you can get here by boat, but we drove here. A few kilometres west of the airport, you leave the main highway down this very bumpy, dusty road. The car gets very much shaken on the way, even at slow speed....More

First it's only accessed by boat or a two hour cab ride on a dirt road but it's worth it. Make a half day or more trip of it. Cabs will take you there and wait for you for about $750 pesos. Cute little beachside...More

Long way from ring road to beach area. I am sure there would be a basic room in the area. One of the restaurants probably has an extra room. If travelling solo, you would need to feel comfortable in such a situation. We used... More
