We enjoyed our trip to La Crucecita, we hired a cab from our resort and he escorted us through the town. He took us to the famous church, the town square, a factory that made rugs, table clothes, placemats etc. It was interesting to see a man making a rug while we were there. He also took us to a... Stayed in the resort area but came into town quite a few times to eat at some of the better restaurants. Better food than our hotel at significantly lower prices. Nice town square that gets busy late in the night. Very safe around the square and there are taxi stands.

Very safe, nice people, but very hot weather. Great shopping and lots of real Mexican food. Nice to sit in the square and people watch. Amazing church looks onto the square.

We have travelled Mexico for over 30 years and this was our first visit to Huatulco and most certainly will not be our last. La Crucecita is a lovely town that is truly Mexican with a great fruit market area near the Centro and a gorgeous town square. Restaurants are plentiful, prices are excellent, value for your dollar is exceptional,... More

We stayed in a nearby hotel and walked to Crucecita several days - loved exploring the local life! Tons of little shops and great local food.

This was my first time to Huatulco, Mexico although I have visited the country numerous times in the Yucatan region and also in other cities along the Pacific coast. I read as much as I could about the town and then went to Trip Advisor for advice. I had a full schedule of places I wanted to see and I... More

We went to town from Dreams to buy some gifts and view the town. Very nice people although some were somewhat pushy with selling things. I don't like to barter so not my favorite but my fiancé can barter well. They have a good tequila shop that has tastings.

La Crucecita is a lovely little town to visit. Not sure if this was posted but the main Zocalo was completely renovated before Christmas last year. Much more open. Great job by Fonatur.
