It's a beautiful cathedral, it reminds me of the Notre dame cathedral in Paris, France. It's well cared for.

While the outside of the cathedral was quite nice, we sort of missed going inside. There is an ice-cream vendor, Señor Frog's - the logo of the fog, however, on the curb, that sells the best, hand-made ice-cream I've ever had. You must try each...More

Beautiful eclectic cathedral. The architecture is impressive! Interesting back story on how it was built.

In the middle of town this historical church is used daily. It has been well kept up and is under regular upkeep. So much history.

Beautiful architecturally and moving! Stopped during a puluminia tour. So quiet and peaceful. Enjoyed stopping to meditate and say a prayer during a busy trip. Purchased beads from outdoor vendor. Lovely!

This is one of the most awe inspiring churches in Mexico. The inside is stunning and has a fascinating history. Depending the time of day the sun shines through the stained glass windows and lights up the chandeliers. It's right in the heart of old...More

On our recent cruise to the Mexican Riviera, we spent time in downtown Mazatlan, including a visit to the cathedral and grounds. What is fascinating, other than the architecture is the history of the building. It took about 100 years to finish the construction. The...More

Taxi to the church will cost less than $20 US. No tickets needed. Unfortunately, I do not recall the mass schedule, but I suspect the desk personnel at your hotel will be able to advise you.

I don't know what time mass is, but a pulmonia is the most convenient way to get there. All the drivers know the cathedral.

I'm not sure if they have any English masses. There were no English masses for the Solemnity of Mary on January 1 when we were there. We have been to English mass at San Judas Tadeo in the Golden Zone. It was at 8:45 am.
