Very nice theater, very nice music. My wife and I attended a concert organized by Gordon Campbell and featuring his son playing violin. The venue is really quite striking and the acoustics were excellent. It was wonderful to partake of a good classical music performance given by interesting performers. The pianist who accompanied the Campbell family was truly excellent. It wasn't clear to me how many in the audience were visitors and how many were local residents or Mexicans on holiday but Mr. Campbell, who spoke to the audience at various times in the performance, alternated between English and Spanish and is fluent in both.…

As part of a cruise excursion in Puerto Vallarta, we visited the theater. Loved the box seats and the detail of the building. The history of the opera house and the story of Angela Peralta were very interesting.

The concerts here are varied and it is a very comfortable place to watch them. There really are no bad seats, but the floor seats are definitely more comfortable than the cheaper seats in the balconies. A really intimate setting for concerts.
