Its not hard to please my wife and I, but when we walked down the Malecon we were harassed constantly with timeshare people. Even when we said no we don't want anything to do with it they would still keep on the pitch. All we...More

The Malecon, also known as the Boardwalk, is a wide, concrete walkway along the ocean in downtown Puerto Vallarta. It is great for an afternoon or early evening stroll where you can see art, sculpture and street performers. They also sell street food and other...More

It's very touristy, but it's still a nice stroll, whether during the day or at night. There are plenty of things to see, eat, and experience, as well as multitudinous shops selling virtually anything/everything imaginable.

A walk on the Malecon is just breezy fun. Stop anywhere for a beer trinket shopping. Get some tacos or Street food snacks just south of the south end commons area by the beach. A lovely addition to a vacation in PV.

Beautiful boardwalk without the boards but with restaurants, bars, streetfood, sculptures and entertainment nightly by the amphitheater. Forbidden to traffic, so no diesel fumes or engine noise, ideal for spending the entire evening with friends or family

The sights, sounds, smells and entertainment are all super. All the shops along the waterfront are interesting and have a wide variety of souvenirs, hats, shirts and other trinkets. Restaurants have food for all tastes and are reasonably priced. You can watch the foot traffic...More

Hi Efren, I agree Taxis are certainly an option and reasonable in price. By the time you factor in time and parking you can already be there for 1/2 and hour. Buses run frequently and are real cheap if you want a more... More

No, the real pyramids are on the other side of Mexico, or at the sites mentioned above. If you stay in Cancun, Chichin Itza is a day trip - usually you can either drive it yourself, or take a tour (which is what we did) - a... More
