This has to be one of the most beautiful places in the world. The weather is so stable and to sit on you deck and watch dolphins and whales is truly spectacular. We have been scuba diving and as long as the water is calm the diving is wonderful.

It was cold! The sea was rough. Walked down to the Main Pier 3x each day. It is an extremely tranquil place. The Best for the :-) ♡ Shelleen strength.

The bay of Banderas is beautiful. The beaches are golden sand covered in people trying to sell you souvenirs. If your a surfer after big waves not typically going to find them here. They are adequate for some boogie boarding. Bigger waves are in Sayulita and San Pancho. There are plenty of different things to do, Kite boarding, parasailing, tubing,... More

Puerto Vallarta sits in the center of the Bay of Banderas. There are so many beautiful places on the bay. By far the best attraction is whale watching. You can see them from the shore or go on a whale watching excursion.

Our hotel was on this bay so we loved eating lunch and watching the bay. The views of the mountains are amazing. There are some watersports going on and also you can watch the huge cruise ships coming in to the Marina. Apparently, sometimes you might see whales or dolphins, but we weren't so lucky.

The bay is quite large as far as bays are concerned, but provides protection to all the resorts that border the bay due to its position from the open Pacific. As a result the resorts that front the bay in most cases have great beaches. Also, for those that visit Puerto Vallarta in late Nov. and Dec. will probably be... More

A seashore town that has a lot of "old" Mexico with US conveniences. The bay is the centerpiece withvabout everyvwater activity you could want.

Our resort, Now Amber is situation on this bay. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Water is fairly clear. Was able to parasail over the bay and it was spectacular! Already trying to get back to it and Puerto Vallarta. Just a note, since this is a on the Pacific Ocean side, the sand will NOT be as fine as on Atlanta... More
