Loved eating breakfast at La Terraza di Roma almost daily. Great staff, wonderful food, nice ambiance, piano playing senor, and the crocodile under the deck with several inquisitive iguanas. Thanks to Ahmadinejad, a waitress who was friendly and accommodating.

Marina is quite large and lots of shops as well as restaurants. Boats of every size can be admired. Ate at Victors and was very good.

There are several local shopping centers (plus Sam's and Wal-Marts close by. If you book a fishing tour, or any type of boat trip this is most likely were you will be leaving from. Taxi service is easily available.

It's a marina, a little bit off the beaten track from the rest of Puerto Vallarta which has an excellent art shop Galeria EM. Having a drink at the top of the lighthouse is certainly relaxing and exquisite otherwise, it's a marina.

The port is clean and the area is relatively quiet - not quite as much hustle and bustle as at some cruise ship ports. A nice bonus is a Wal-Mart supercenter about a five minute walk away where one can buy cabin supplies and the...More

We had our own car so no help from taxi. We were doing a Vallarta Adventures tour. Their instructions were exactly clear but literally once you pass the guard gate you enter the port. There is the security screening inside. We drove past it thinking...More

The marina is only 10 minutes from the airport. Really nice to take a stroll and see the beautiful boats. We have never really found a restaurant that we would specifically make a trip to but to stop for a drink and a quick app,...More

Ran into a few American expats living there full time or boating there for the winter. This place has everything you need - pharmacy, clothing, inexpensive restaurants and sports bars, Fishing charters, massage parlours, dentist, real estate office. Nice visit.

Hi. I highly recommend you do a taco tour. there are 2 companies in Vallarta that offer them. Both very good. On average they'll take you to 5-7 taco places ranging from small hole in the wall or large restaurants and taco... More
