The tourist office just steps away and can give you information for special events held at this plaza. Life bands with local music. Local people dancing around the stage. Art vendors and so much more, mostly evenings. Recommended MeuterMedia

Perfect spot for people watching. You can get your shoes shined though nearly everyone wears sandals or flip flops. The often have a book market and a few shops along the edge. City hall is next door and the Guadalupe church is very close

This is set up every night during the Festival of Guadilupe Dec 1-12 with food vendors and great food and deserts, I ate there every night during that time and loved it
