We enjoyed many of the smaller restaurants on the beach for margaritas, fish tacos, fresh seafood... lots to do... lots to see.

Any time of the day or early night this is full of people and music. Many restaurants issue 2 for 1 Margarita etc.

Everytime we visit Puerto Vallarta, Mexico we have to experience the Malecon in the Zona Romantica. The area is so filled with things to do and see and places to eat.

We stayed in the hills in the Zona Romantica with beautiful views of the beaches. Whales come close enough to shore to see them breaching and spouts. We appreciated that while there were many tourist shops, few American chain stores or restaurants. It's the older...More

I love shopping in this area, plus Saturday is the market. So much to see and experience. Lots of arts, food, entertainment and people. Plus great shopping around the market. This is such a great area to visit when you are in PVR.

When the "board walk" ends, there is a bridge which continues right over into this location. Much like the board with a few differences. The beaches here, especially next to the pier are very crowded. The concrete path way brings with to more restaurants but...More

Very rustic. This is where all the activity is. I haven’t stayed elsewhere but I would come back here.
