Hard to give a beach 3 stars but the water was dirty and not inviting. I'd not go again especially not go out of my way to get there

This was a great place to stop and Sea Kayak. Unfortunately there were very few fish to view when snorkeling. More were by the boat. This was a great stop along the way to see this uninhabited place near Puerto Vallarta. .

you can only get here by boat- taxi/tour. There is not much to do, but to relax and snorkel around. There is a hotel, quite expensive...but beach and river are nice

We started off the day by meeting our guide "Sexy Beautiful Keven" he was a young vibrant man who was exceptional in English and Spanish. He was very kind and funny as heck!!! We stopped right away in the bay and got to see two hump back whales and then on to Majahuitas for snorkeling and that was a blast!... More

Found some excellent snorkeling here as part of a trip. Water is very clear and found a great variety of fish. Worth a visit.

When we went at the end of December, the water was rough and we couldn't even get close enough with the boat to go to the beach. Do not recommend in December. I think Spring is better

This is a must if you are planning a trip to Puerto Vallarta Mexico. Very safe, very clean and it is ideal for the family. Remember to take plenty of water on a hot day if you are staying for a long time.

And that was perfect for five days. Read a 700 page book and drank pina coladas. Food is excellent. 2nd time here, always fun to meet fellow vacationers at diner. Bare feet and swim suits are the rule, except dinner. Dinner is flip flops and something Tommy Bahama like. Very relaxed. Bay does get busy. But who cares, its a... More

We took the Yelapa & Majahuitas Tour through Vallarta Adventures primarily for the snorkeling and hiking to the Waterfall. Nestled in the southernmost part of Banderas Bay is the secluded village of Yelapa which is only accessible via boat. Of our four tours with Vallarta Adventures, this ended up being our least favorite. You begin with a boat ride out... More
