Consistently professional and trustworthy business. I am in PV now and was at the shop yesterday and told the owner, Antonio Cordero, that I read the review that this person did not get the tea pot top....it has already been mailed. Shop there for excellent majolica. The majolica is not inexpensive, but worth every cent.

Every time we visit Puerto Vallarta, this is a 'must' stop. You can easily spend hours looking and trying to decide what to purchase!

I spent a couple of hours trying to make up my mind about what a buy, but there are just too many nice things to choose from. They have an amazing selection of high end pottery, plates, bowls, cups, etc. The pottery is beautify painted and the colours are vibrant but not tacky. This is not the cheap stuff you... More

We visited this shop 13 years ago and have enjoyed the pieces we purchased so much, that we were thrilled to see it was still there! All the pieces are gorgeous and beautifully made. Staff is professional and helpful. These pieces are not what you see in the touristy spots around town. This is art and each piece is handmade... More

If you are looking for high quality pottery this is the place. Patterns are gorgeous. Pieces are unique and different than the tourist junk. This is the place to take something home from. I bought a beautiful vase that was wrapped perfectly so I could hand carry it home without breaking it. They do also ship.

One of the most popular souvenirs that visitors bring home from Mexico are the colorful pottery... these are found everywhere where tourists frequent. If you're seeking authentic Majolica style pieces, this place has a great selection (& friendly staff). We received excellent and thorough info regarding the origins of this art style by the proprietor -- which was very much... More

We found this shop in 1993 and made our first purchases at that time. Majolica's shop was on Calle Corona but the shop recently moved to Calle Basillo Baudillo. In 1995, we became acquainted with the owner, Antonio Cordero and we learned a lot about the majolica of Mexico, its origins in Spain and before Spain from the Near East.... More

After popping into so many shops with mass produced items I couldn't believe my eyes when I walked into Majolica Antica. The handcrafted items were beautifully displayed. The selection of pottery was gorgeous. It was so hard to decide what to buy but I finally chose two bowls. They look even better when I unwrapped them at home. I look... More

I stumbled on this shop by accident and met the owner who is very knowledgeable. The store displays beautifully intricate hand-painted ceramics old and new.
