This is a 9 mile stretch of beautiful beach with very limited development thus far. You can walk for miles without seeing anyone. The sea is beautiful but quite rough as it is such a long open beach. Incredible sunsets. There isn't a huge amount of activity, so mainly for relaxation.

Amazing day trip! Started in a small hotel called Las Palmas where they took us on a kayak trip on a private lagoon, 5 minutes from the airport. There is a development starting there with new condos and a beach club being built, it is called MAREA. They have open house to see what they are building, the condos where... More

we took our time to plan this vacation and were happy to find playa blanca , long secluded beach with dozens of beach front restaurants, great place to do yoga and meditate.

Perfect beach if you value privacy and being secluded. Other great attributes of Playa Blanca include super soft sand, ocean waters you can safely swim in and a beachfront that is clean. I just enjoyed 5 days on this beach with not one person trying to sell me random things.

I've visited here for 15 years and visit for 3 or more months a year. Peaceful, serene, and beautiful. I have an unobstructed view of the beach and ocean. Great whale and dolphin watching.

We visited in May-June so off season and the beach is fairly empty. We recommend King Fish Restaurant's coconut shrimp. The best we've tried anywhere and clearly surpasses a similar well known dish in another Zihua restaurant! Can't wait to eat them again!

Went for one day to Barra de Potosi and walked along the beach. We were the only people on it! Absolutely incredible! Sand looks like it is sprinkled with gold! Nice that it is an untouched beach.

Private and serene while still only being minutes from town. A rental car is a must. The staff was amazing, friendly, and helpful.
