The staircase down is not completely obvious, as most visitors don’t seem to go down. But it is worth a visit to see the resting places of prior cardinals. Don’t forget to donate to the upkeep of the church.

Beautiful cathedral with the style of the others in the city, with its own unique look and larger size! Must visit and great area!
Beautiful building, lovely interior and the ceiling is stunning. It's an open cathedral and there were many people coming to do their confessions which is something I haven't seen before.
If you visit Guadalajara then is a must to come here and take a look around! The details are great and everything that it surrounded is worth to see

A lot of people out on a sunny Sunday. I enjoyed the square even with all the construction. People were nice and their is la chata restaurant in walking distance. I had a nice time there and would go back to see more.
Breath taking art detail throughout the interior of the church. You can experience the peaceful serenity as you take in the magnificent color and art form. Never expected to find so many similarities with European shrines.
