Really interesting museum which is mostly Trotsky’s house where he moved after living at Frida Kahlo’s nearby residence. Easy to do both together in a morning and go together well with their shared history. Easy to get the feel of how he lived in constant...More

Most of the displays only have a description in Spanish and therefore it is difficult to understand without an audio guide (which is not available). Therefore. we were disappointed with this visit and there were hardly any other visitors there either

It is interesting to be in the place where Stalin's cronies, like the Mexican muralist Siqueiros, Stalin's flunky, and the Spaniard Mercader, a KGB operative, attempted and finally succeeded in killing Trotsky. Besides that, there's not much to learn from the poorly laid-out exhibition at...More

Leon Trotsky's home is a short walk from Frida Kahlo's house in Coyocan. Definitely worth spending a couple of hours there. Trotsky wound up in Mexico after his split with Stalin after the Russian Revolution. He became close friends with Frida and Diego Rivera and...More

this small house contained a wealth of interesting artefacts related to Trotsky. Set in a well maintained small garden with a welcome cafeteria it was a pleasant and informative way to spend a couple of hours

Very align with Frida and Diego is the Leon Totsky house, there a nice museum and explanation for all the culture, heritage and issues behind his former party, also you can check how mid 1900s house was in Mexico.

One TripAdvisor review of this museum has the title "A Monument to Inhumanity". The inhumanity being that of Stalin in persecuting his critics such as Leon Trotsky. I have given my review the title "Humanity". The humanity being that of Mexico in giving refuge to...More

History in your face with no punches pulled this place is a grim but fascinating window on the madness of Stalin. Why was he so obsessed with killing an old exile who could pose no threat to him? Stand inside looking at the bullet-pocked walls...More
