We arranged in advance for an English speaking guide, through the museum. It was free and extremely helpful. Plan on spending at least a half day here.

There are so much to see in this museum from various tribes and regions of Mexico. My only complain is that even though they do have english signs for the rooms and major item, most items do not have labels in English.

Give yourself plenty of time-- the artifacts here are so well displayed and each room has an amazing amount of pottery, stonework, figures and art.
