The area is still nice but, after the earthquake, a lot of buildings have collapsed and are very dangerous. Walk through with caution.

Definitely my favorite neighborhood in CDMX. Attractive, leafy lanes, relatively quiet, TONS of eating, drinking, and entertainment options. Hip neighborhood.

The La Condesa district in Mexico City was a delightful breath of fresh air, literally. When we exited our Uber car we were refreshed by the trees and wide streets and parks in this area. You can dine at wonderful sidewalk restaurants, walk the tree...More

Condesa is a cozy, laid-back and very green neighborhood in the centre of Mexico City. Well worth a stroll around with its parks and some beautiful buildings. Quite a lot of restaurants and pubs, too. It's safe to walk around here.

This trendy neighborhood is well worth a visit, if not to stay here. I went here by metro from el centro and returned by taxi. There is a gorgeous park, lots of wonderful restaurants and coffee shops. If you are interested in Art Deco buildings,...More

You can spend a day or a week or an entire life here. Just strolling through the streets, through the wonderful parks, amazing architecture, amazing trees.

Ditto as others have said. It is a neighborhood, so watch for deshechos de perritos! Dog poop... but no more than rarely. Restaurantes of all types and cultures. A "mercado" is really a food court with an upscale restaurant above. Worth the stop for lunch....More

If this were in my country I would live here. Quiet, leafy streets, endless cafes and bistros, many art deco bldgs., walk the Avenida Amsterdam and Avenida Mexico, visit Parque Mexico and Espana. Utterly relaxing and fascinating.

Easy to explore either on bike or foot, Condesa offers
a great variety of activities and places to visit
while admiring its neo-colonial architecture. Diverse
restaurants vary from regional to global along its
streets, while local bars even let you craft your own
beer. The urban yet relaxing vibe let visitors cycle
or stroll on the Amsterdam Circuit.

If there’s other choices, I would stay somewhere else as there are multiple blockages still at that area. It’s good for visits though just the buildings are not the safest there. Cary
