The huge, ornate cathedral is sinking, which makes the floor uneven and the outside structure bend. It’s both a beautiful place of worship and a fantastic geographical feature.

A truly impressive site to visit and explore. The architecture is old and grand and so impressive, and the inside is yet another incredible place to admire and appreciate.

Beautiful cathedral, worth a stop if you are in the Zocalo area. There's great architecture, sculptures, artwork and a giant organ. It's a functioning cathedral so be mindful of that, and try to avoid mass. For a great photo of the exterior of the cathedral,...More

This is a beautiful, active cathedral. They are doing construction outside in the plaza so parts are blocked off. Built on top.of Aztec ruins which you can see through holes in the ground outside.
