The newest art museum in Mexico City is inside a cultural complex owned by the National University. The surroundings are great, it has one great piece of land art known as Espacio escultorico. The museum usually has great temporary exhibitions, the last I saw was an Anish Kapoor show.

The MUAC is a very nice modern art museum on the UNAM campus! If you are in the southern part of Mexico City it is a good stop ... the modern art there is quite nice and the setting outside is quite nice as well ... the Azul y Oro restaurant nearby is a good bite to eat in this... More

I had an excellent visit on this museum. I had the Anish Kapoor exposition which was really awesome with most of the artist masterpieces. The museum offers a nice library and some restaurants.

This is a great modern museum located south of the city. It can seem hard to reach, but just take an Uber. It's relatively cheap. It was pay as you wish the day I went because they were changing over some of the exhibits. There is a gift shop near the entrance and a cafe downstairs. You can also combine... More

The building itself is very interesting. No permanent collection. All temporary exhibits focused on contemporary art. The cafeteria is interesting as well as the museum shop.

Built as most of the Ciudad Universitaria of the National Unibversity, over a large bed of black lava, the Centro Cultural and its newest building, the MUAC, emerge from this wild landscape with bold concrete geometry. The museum houses always interesting contemporary art proposals, entrance is free or very cheap according to the week day.

The MUAC presents a great exhibition, Anish Kapoor, three ships and 20 containers moved the collection from the UK to Mexico, under the theme: Archeology Biology, the exhibition offers enormous opportunities to interact with art. Great option for kids and teens!

Art is a matter of feelings; once I heard this concept but just with contemporary art and specifically in this Museum I could apply it. I came several times; this occasion I saw Anish Kapoor which in MUCA found a perfect match. Don't lose the opportunity to know this expo if you like contemporary art. In addition, you can have... Very accessible prices, nice expositions, if you don't understand they have the museum app which can explain the art you are seeing. The building itself it's a beautiful architectural design worth looking at . It's a nice activity for the weekend
