Cannot recommend this highly enough. Wonderful!
My wife and I enjoyed this cooking class yesterday as a change from the usual pool, beach, bar part of our honeymoon. I cannot stress enough how enjoyable it was. I am a keen cook and this ticked every box possible. Chef Andres is engaging, knowledgeable and an all round great guy with an interesting story and lots of experience to share. The food we cooked was delicious - all in the course of learning about new fruits and all parts of Mexican cuisine, including how to make the perfect guacamole, a delicious soup made from huitlacoche and refried beans in a dash. We made sopes and tasted Mezcal. We ate great fish. I would not hesitate to recommend it. One of the best things I have done on ANY vacation.

First, my wife and I love to cook and share in the kitchen. This was one of the most enjoyable and memorable treats we have ever had on a vacation, especially, in Cancun! Chef Andres shared his expertise, family stories, and genuine interest in us during our 4-5 hour experience, Not only were the "fixins" delicious, but we were immersed in an outstanding culinary, cultural, and personal experience! We will do this again on our next trip to Cancun! Highly recommended! Wish we had a photo to share.

    Fantastic Experience!
This cooking class was an exceptional experience. Chef Andres is so welcoming and does a great job of providing some history and context to the dishes that he makes. The class is small and intimate, allowing everyone to get to know each other, ask lots of questions, and be involved in the process. After a mescal education and tasting, we were able to enjoy the incredible dishes that we learned to prepare. Everything was delicious and presented beautifully. We took away some great tips for enhancing our current culinary practices and some new dishes to add to our menu. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

A perfect day! Delicious tequila tasting, a great meal and the fun and knowledgeable Chef Andres to teach us.
A wonderful day in CANCUN with Chef Andres. A lovely venue and a perfect host/ culinary wonder/teacher and entertainer in Chef Andres. We had so much fun learning how to make a yummy Mexican meal at home as well as to be served the gourmet meal that we helped to cook. Delicious! And then there was the Mezcal/tequila tasting. So much to learn, so many to taste. A new hobby perhaps? I would do this again and highly recommend Chef Andre’s culinary experience. Yumm!

Hard to come up with another superlative that hasn’t already been used in previous reviews. Of all the cooking schools we have been to in our travels, this one tops them all. Incredibly informative. Authentic mexican cuisine prepared by a Cordon Blue trained Chef.

Our group of 9 visited Chef Andres and thoroughly enjoyed his cooking class. Everyone felt it was a fantastic experience and nice change from resort life. Chef Andre organized a shuttle, for a great price, door to door. Chef Andres is very friendly, speaks perfect English, and is a knowledgeable and entertaining instructor. The menu made, including roasted squash soup, orange pico de gallo, fish kibis, and guava mouse was delicious. We also tasted a variety of Mexcal and Tequila, which was at . I would not hesitate to recommend it.

Such an inspiring experience! Chef Andres was such a lovely, personable man and his workshop was full of fascinating facts about historical Mexican cooking techniques and how we can use them today. We learned how to make several tasty Mexican staples, topped off with a fascinating mexcal and tequila tasting. Who knew reposado and chocolate could work together! Lots of creative ideas to try at home.

Was one of the highlights of our trip to Cancun. Highly recommend to have a more immersive cultural experience!

This cooking workshop was WONDERFUL. My whole family had an amazing time. The chef had coffee and bread when we arrived and then we made salsa AND a five course meal. All the food was exceptional. While the steak was marinating we enjoyed a mezcal and tequila tasting. The chef was also extremely accommodating as we had a two year old with us. We highly recommend this workshop!!!
