Everyone we spoke to who had been to Cancun before us said we had to go. We booked a ticket Royal Service. £140 approx each. Royal service was supposed to give us a view of the show, reserved seating, drinks all night and 2 snacks (burger and chips or hot dog and chips). The reserved seating was a seat on the hard surface, the waiter gave us 2 rounds of drinks and never came back. The food for 3 of us was 2 slices of burnt pizza. We could see the show but had restricted viewing. It was a good night and the show is excellent - not worth £140 each tho. I'd probably pay £50 for it.

Coco Bongo is a must place to visit when in Cancun if you want to enjoy a fun night. The environment is great, the music is fantastic and the show segments are so well done and balanced. Fantastic!!

My wife and I visited Cancun for our 10th wedding anniversary and we debated attended this show especially after going over the reviews - there are a number of negative reviews. However, I believe most of the negative reviews has to do with restricted views especially after having paid a decent amount for higher priced tickets. Ultimately we decided to attend the show though I must say we had very little expectation. It turns out that the show did not disappoint. All of the performances were really good. There were intermittent pauses in between and a lot of dancing. Ladies who wanted to get onto the stage were allowed to get on. There were also three platforms that allowed guests to come on and wow the crowd. We got the VIP front row ticket which gave us unrestricted views from the top of the gallery. We also received drinks, our server was very present and ensured we always had enough drinks. We also got served a meal - small piece of burger with fries. We spent about 5 hours and eventually left before the show ended. My recommendation would be to get a VIP front row ticket in order to enjoy the view. Otherwise if you prefer to get in on action then a seat on the main floor would be more ideal. Overall, we enjoyed the entire show and would recommend.

I don't normally write too many reviews but I felt that I should because I was very skeptical about booking tickets for this club from the reviews. Myself and my boyfriend (UK couple, late twenties) were pleasently surprised at how much we enjoyed our night at the club!! We went at 9:30 on a Wednesday night. The acts were entertaining and the bar was easy to get to, unlike many reviews. We didn't get any food but I'm not sure if we just missed this. The music is great and the atmosphere felt fun but not too 'cluby'. Think bongos bingo without the bingo... I would recommend booking your tickets for a boogie night in Cancun !

Wow, I went to this show with no expectations. I bought the vip pass, was sitting up stairs, which was a ways away, bar was great, service was great, two drinks at a time, then got the opportunity to move to the front row for hundred dollar upgrade, wow is all I can say. I’ve been to a lot of Vegas shows, this beat those out for me. The Dancing, the singing, the aerobatics, the music, confetti, air-blasters. I read the other reviews and people complained about the break in between sets, with this much action, you need a break. Go see this show, I loved it. It was pricey, it was loud, it was crowded. Go buy tix, it’s awesome!

What a great party! I’d highly recommend this venue to anyone coming to Mexico! We had vip front row, unlimited drinks and great service from the waiter very attentive and never let your drinks dry! Will definitely will return again next year. The show is literally next level non stop excitement from start to finish A* Thanks again for an amazing experience.

My husband and I went to Coco Bongo a couple of years ago when we were last in Cancun and had an amazing night but we were unsure whether to do it again after hearing some bad reviews. We decided to go for it and booked front row gold tickets through a coco bongo rep called Jessie who visited our Riu hotel. We were picked up from our hotel and taken to coco bongo, we did wait in a line but it wasn’t too long. We had front row seats which were incredible - the best seats in the house! We tipped our waiter and the drinks were flowing all night, most of the time he just brought us another round without us even asking. The show itself was great but there were a lot more breaks than last time, there seemed to be a performance followed by 20-30 minutes of just the crowd getting up and dancing to fill time. The show was still good and we had a great night, I would recommend booking direct through coco bongo and paying a bit extra for front row seats - definitely worth it.

I'm not one for night clubs however my good lady wife was so excited about going that I went against my better judgment & had a fantastic time. We booked direct through Freddy the Coco Bongo rep at our hotel (Grand Sirenis) and would definitely recommend going through these guys. It costs the same as on the doors or through your travel agency. We opted for the Gold members package and sure its $125.00 US per person which I initially thought was expensive but its definitely worth it. We had a much shorter wait to get in. Perfect view of the main floor & table service so good that my wife & I never saw the bottom of our glass the whole night. Show switches back & forth between nightclub & Acts every ten minutes or so but its constant high energy all night. Loads of fun.

Me & my partner came for paid for the regular experience we did really consider the table option at $175 dollars each for a table (thank god we didn’t!) Regular entry is still $109 dollars (which included all inclusive drinks & snacks) each so still not cheap by any means, Got there to be welcomed by characters like the mask, beeltejuice & Batman as we queued to get in, Asking if we wanted pictures we agreed thinking it was part of the experience, Oh no, Soon as we got pictures they were all expecting a $20 dollar tip & when I said no they kept telling me I had to pay which I refused, That kinda set the tone really of what to expect, Got in & it was busy but managed to get a very watered down captain Morgan’s rum & coke & was offered a shot, So we find the main stage to see what all the fuss is about. The positives The show itself was entertaining the little man dressed up as the mask & beetlejuice stole the show for me the lighting was great & played great current music & throwbacks, They had Rolling Stones, Queen, Elvis music tributes & film segments from the dark knight, 300 & beetlejuice which were great but nothing spectacular You couldn’t move in there it was overcrowded the people next to us paid for a table ($175 each) which they really did, they were told they had to pay extra for chairs?! & the waiter who brought their drinks over only did it for a tip! Our package did come with all inclusive drinks & burger & chips but we only managed to get one drink which was the one beforehand as we couldn’t get to the bar without losing each other or making it through the crowds, The waiters/cleaners near enough pushed you out the way to get past which was frequent throughout, Don’t get me wrong I understand it must be difficult to get drinks through a crowd but still, Also if your a lady & want to go on stage they blow air up your skirts which they should warn you about beforehand hand because It can be really embarrassing for someone who isn’t expecting it. Overall I don’t believe it’s worth the hype for the money they charge you, They just want your money & nothing else the crowd was well over capacity & made it uncomfortable, It was underwhelming especially as a birthday celebration.

I bought the ticket online prior to going, and on the confirmation email it stated check in time 8:45, so I got there at that time, the line was not as long and I was given a drink while I was waiting, I was inside around 9:20 which I think it’s okay. Then… finding a place to be at was a hustle, I was moved from place to place (not nicely) even tho I was following the instructions, at one point one of the staff members even put his hand on my arm and pushed me to the side, where there was clearly no place available (rude🙄), Within 30 minutes of being there I was already feeling like leaving, Luckily, I found a spot in between two occupied tables, the people on the tables were okay with me being there, and then i could enjoy! The show was neat! I loved it, (300 was my favorite), drinks were not great, but I didn’t have any problem getting them, I would just go to the bar, didn’t have to wait much and the bartenders were nice to me. while I was dancing I saw a guy with a big tray giving the snacks, so I got to try the burger which I liked (it was tasty). In between the shows the entertainment gets interactive with the public ✅, there are kiss cams, dance battles and others… women showing off their bodies and boobs to me is tacky and unnecessary, but I saw many people enjoying that so I get why they do it. In general I had a great time, I was a little concerned about going as a solo girl, but I think it made it easier for me, nobody offered me a table or a bottle😅 yet, I saw all the problems that were mentioned before: No place, poor customer service, people at the tables waiting long for what they ordered, rudeness from the staff, people not being able to see the show… organizational problems that will ruin the experience for the customers 🙁 management should take the complaints seriously to make the experience enjoyable for everybody 🫶🏻
