My family used the Ultramar to go and from to Isla Mujeres. We have used it before and it is a great way to visit the island. The prices are reasonable. It is always safe and clean. Will use again!

We took this ferry to Isla Mujeres. We found the price to be quite reasonable at $19/usd for a round trip ticket. The ferry was clean and the ride took about 20 minutes. Pier was easy to find and we took the public bus to it. We will use again.

We have taken the catamarans over to Isla Mujeres and also the Dancer Cruise. This time we wanted speed and Ultramar had us there in 15 minutes! Awesome to use the ferry to get to your next excursion quickly

Quick and easy service to go over to the island across from Cancun, Isla Mujeres which is fun and more laid back area of the Cancun area.

Cheap and easy. 2 round trips at the window cost 292 pesos. That's about $15 at the prevailing exchange rate. Not sure why some people are calling this an expensive ferry. perhaps their tour company marked the tickets up quite a bit. Also, although the crossing is quick, there is, of course, beer on board.

Hi ews25! Thank you so much for traveling with us! From Puerto Juárez the round trip to Isla Mujeres cost $146.00MXN and yes is more cheap if you buy the tickets in the terminal :) Thank you so much for this helpful tip! More

Pre booked and paid for our tickets the day before. Arrived 25 minutes early just in case. Queue was incredibly long. We were glad we arrived early as our part was in the shade. The crossing was very quick but the guy stamping his feet singing was a bit over the top. Then they rush round with a tip hat.... More

We went on the bus to Playa Toguras to the ferry, cost 19US$ each return. The ferry takes 25 minutes. Whilst on the ferry we booked a golf cart paying 35US$ but didn't realise that we as we hadn't brought our driving we didn't have insurance. We felt pushed into it. We went to the golf cart shop and after... More

Have taken the Ultramar ferry on our day trips to Islas Mujeres and it is a well organized, safe and comfortable service. Price is reasonable and they keep their schedule pretty much on time. I love to sit on the deck and enjoy the strong Caribbean sun and wind on my face.... And the Mariachi entertainer adds a local flavor...... More
