Very Informative and entertaining tour. The busses very nice and comfortable this is a full day tour in which breakfast and lunch are included the tour guide was entertaining, however, they try to sell you stuff like mosquito repellents etc. On the way back we stopped and got down at cenote Ik Kil which was very beautiful although crowded.

3 travelers on this tour - ages 38, 35 and 10YO. We were picked up directly from our hotel (Occidental at Xcaret) in the morning and then taken to the depot (45 minute drive) where you switch from a smaller shuttle bus to a bigger bus and then begin the drive to Chichen Itza. As you are driving the wonderful... More

The trip to Xichen-Itza' is worth the time - it is a 12 hour day. You are picked up in a nice motor bus and if you purchased the deluxe tour, are given a boxed breakfast. Eat it, as you will need the energy- once at the site as there is a great deal of walking. WEAR COMFORTABLE SHOES!. The... More

Great tour, these guides kept it fun and interesting plus Ruth knows French. I don't know if you can request them as your guides but if you can then I highly recommend them.

Firstly they said it would take two hours from Moon palace but it took 3 hours +, the majority of the tour was the travel to and from the hotel. The Tour guide Victor was very informative and entertaining but we didnt like how he swindles the group to pay 20USD for a Mayan Birth paper, the first stop was... More

We booked this tour instead of the one with the cenote ik -il because my husband wanted to see the old colonial city Valladollid. This city is reputed to be beautiful with collonial architechture etc. and good traditional food. We embarked on this tour organised by Xcaretexperiences. We were picked up by a big bus, which made its round picking... More

I can't say enough about the personal experience of visiting a site that I had previously only seen in history books...the building are even more impressive in person! Beyond the main pyramid and the area immediately around it, be sure to make the side trip to the far side of the site to see the observatory. The good tour guides... More

Because Chichén is a good 3 hours drive from Cancún it is worth combining a visit to this spectacular and must see site with the beautiful colonial town of Valladolid, only 35 minutes away on the way to Cancún.

Chichen Itza is amazing and full of interesting history for all ages. We took the family on this tour from Playa del Carmen. We loved the experience of being there, but would travel differently next time. We were informed before purchasing that it would be a two and a half hour bus ride to Chichen and that we would be... The Chichen Deluxe will cost $109 per person as part of a two tour package with the Xcaret group. As it says in the brochure, you get a multilingual guide, refreshments, lunch and transport door to door. Chichen Itza is a wonder of the world with a vast cultural history. Your knowledgeable guide will walk and talk you through the... More
