Worth visiting. Get there early to avoid crowds.

Wonderful place but too crowded after noon. They should control the crowds. Visited in December and it was very hot. Avoid doing it during summer.

There are many pillars to this building supposed to represent warriors. Some good photos can be taken if you have the eye for it. It is not far from the main Chichen pyramid so its easy to admire. It is within the main sqaure of the site.

I believe it the temple of the jaguar warriors. There is a statue of a warrior at the very top! Had to zoom in on it with camera, but can see with the naked eye. Very neat!

This temp also had a common people market where the columns are. The columns held up a stone roof where the people would sell their goods.

One of the many impressive installations in the area. The temple is huge, and must have been very impressive when all the woodwork and colours was there. Hundreds of columns in each direction.

Good and interesting day out. You can really soak up the atmosphere and learn about the Maya tribes. Your visit will be enhanced by a Guide Tour.

It is unfortunate that there is no access around it...regardless, it is a wonderful site to take in, amazing architecture - especially if we don[t forget the age of construction.

You can't wander around them all, nor climb on it, but there may be 1000 of them. Part of the Chichen Itza ruins.

How on earth did these people build this structure with no modern equipment or tools? The Mayans were surely the masters of the universe, using phases of the moon and the constellations to guide many aspects of their lives. This is a nice structure in Chichen Itza, and you will appreciate that it is not in the zone surrounded by... More

This was a great experience. We took a trip from our hotel and went to Chichén Itzá. The trip started at eight in the morning and we got back at eight at night. We saw a Mayan community, a very nice and deep sinkhole that we got to swim in and the temple itself. Literally one of the best moments... More
