This was an easy taxi ride from the ship ($12 or $13), to a very rustic, small bar/restaurant. We were charged $5 each for a chair, but this may be the fee for using the national park. Easy steps and entry into the water (we had our own gear). First, we swam out to the ropes and saw very little;... More

We had visited in the past and there was no cover charges. But like other spots along the coast, if you buy a few drinks, or lunch as we did, then you have access to the facilities and the water. The snorkeling here is very good for shore based viewing. We saw quite a variety of fish and other sea... More

My girlfriends and I were on a cruise stopping in Cozumel. Having taken a cruise ship shore excursion before and been dissapointed, we were searching for a snorkeling alternative. I read an article that talked about Corona Club, so we decided to try it out. It is a free club (no cover), with access to fairly primitive bath/changing rooms, and... More

Nice and clean. You can swim to the reef, it's not too far. Lunch was very tasty and portions are very, very big. Toilets are fine, but not perfect. Unfortunately there is no tea or coffee.

We rent a scooter and have a round of the island, then we end up here for a late lunch. I wish I would have get there sooner. If you eat and drink you do not have to pay to use the facility that offers sun umbrellas, hammocks and the possibility to join the coral reef as you step into... More

This is a great place to snorkel or do a shore dive. Take your own snorkeling gear and explore north along the shoreline. But please stay off the corral and sea fans. The food and drinks are reasonable too. :-)

We went here late in the day (4:00ish) just to snorkel. WE had a beer and the snorkeling was great, but personally, I wouldn't eat here. It looked a bit run-down. There is still lots of fan coral here and we saw lots of fish.

After discovering that Cozumel is full of these beach parks that remind me of Disneyland, we went searching for small private beaches where we could have an individual rather than a mass experience. Playa Corona offers a small beach and very clean water where you can snorkel. We just swam and it was great. There is an entry fee of... More

First of all I just want to make it clear that I am not reviewing the snorkelling here but just the beach club itself. The snorkelling was excellent and based on that alone I would give 5 out of 5. We chose this place based on previous reviews - it sounded like a perfect chilled spot for some snorkelling with... More

For years, while we stayed at an AI 2 miles south, we have run by Playa Corona more times than we can count (we are distance runners and we run several miles every day we are in Cozumel). This December, we decided to take a closer look at this unique beach club, primarily to do some snorkeling. When we travel,... More
