As pretty as the location is the water is so rocky! It would be great for snorkeling but the rocks range from large and slippery to large and sharp. Almost cut my foot a few times. Not worth the trip if you aren’t snorkeling or...More

Playa Azul has been my hotel of choice for ten+ years. I've tried all of the better hotels. Azul isn't the newest, but have the best service on the island. The owner "Fernado" is often on the dining room veranda in the afternoon and although...More

Not my favourite place to snorkel but it was still good. There are lots of fish but due to the large number of people, most of the vegetation is gone. It's fairly shallow and visibility is good but there can be a strong current.

It's a nice place to relax by the beach and snorkel with your own gear. They also had kayaking included for free, which are singles. Doubles are for rent with extra charge, which I thought was unnecessary. There's lockers for rent for additional pay too....More

My son and I spent the day here, was nice to get away from all of the seaweed on the main land. This place has a nice little beach and great snorkelling right out front! Food was ok with fair prices. I would visit again.

Stopped in for lunch. We were seated right away. We ordered drinks and guacamole. The staff was very friendly. The drinks and guacamole was delicious. There is a small beach here. There wasn’t very many people here when we visited. We will come back again.

Just came back from a 5 nights stay at Playa Azul, our first time in Mexico. We were looking for a smaller, no "spring break loud party time", kind of place for our family and this worked perfectly. There was music coming from the Beach...More

Not sure about renting it but definitely enough room for 70 people. I would get there when they open to make sure of seating. Wonderful people! Always smiling!
