Omar, our guide, made history come alive in our excursions to snorkel in the cenote , as well as view the sea turtles.

Awesome adventures! Would do it again and again. Snorkeling was at an easy pace for a sort of fit older lady. With Omar, the entire trip was informative, attentive and doable for... read more

This was a great alternative to Snuba (which didn't allow for under water cameras/video). Sergio was great. They give you a free locker to put your stuff in. They give you a quick review of the rules and how to navigate the equipment and clear the pressure in your ears. Beware...the helmets are small. If you have a lot of... More

Awesome adventures! Would do it again and again. Snorkeling was at an easy pace for a sort of fit older lady. With Omar, the entire trip was informative, attentive and doable for those of any age. His enthusiasm and obvious love the country and its history brings more joy to the trip. Much easier to do than expected and well... More

This was sooo much fun, that I had to do it multiple times. I have done it alone with my husband as well as with the kids. The staff is very attentive and helpful. A must do when in Cozumel. The downside is that I bought jewelry from the attached store that turned colors within a week of getting home...

Traveled on RC Liberty of the Seas with 4 grandchildren, 9, 11, 16, 17. My wife and I are about 60 years young. This was easy for all of us to do, yet some other travelers got scared. The helmet weighs about 70 lbs. out of water, but they don't put it on you until you're to your shoulders in... More

The ride to Jeanie's Waffle House from the International Pier was inexpensive ($8 taxi ride for 4 people). The Sea Trek excursion is in the "backyard" of the restaurant. After the excursion, you can snorkel for as long as you want. Snorkel gear and vests are available for a nominal rental fee. They only ask that you purchase any food... More

I'd imagined this as freely walking around the ocean floor exploring a beautiful reef. This ain't that. Instead, you walk in a line in a sandy, rocky place with no coral or exotic fish to be seen. The whole time they have you do nothing but take posed picture after picture after picture which would be ok BUT then they... More

I have been wanting to walk the bottom of the ocean and see fish in their own surroundings .After reading multiple reveiws I booked as part of My cruise. Unfortunately the excitment was in jeopardy because other travellers cancelled for fear of shark attacks. Thanks to trip advisor I learned that Jeannes Restaaurant was a short cab ride away So... This was my second time helmet-diving at this location. First time was an all-adult group, this time I was with my family and wanted my kids to experience it. They really enjoyed it, although with this being my second time, I could tell the quality of the experience had diminished and alot of things are now staged. They also didn't... More

We were looking forward to this trip as my wife could enjoy it too, as she wears glasses and could still wear them with the helmet, however, as she has Asthma, she wasn't allowed to do the trip. Her asthma is fully controlled but was still refused ( as were 3 others on our trip). This should be stated when... More

Had tried snuba in grand cayman, so wanted something different here. Booked it through the cruise ship. You wear the oversized, heavy helmet, which becomes weightless underwater, and walk the ocean floor. My daughter who struggled with snuba adapted well to this because the breathing is normal as if you are in open air. It was a nice experience, however... More
