Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is a great spot for beginner divers as its a shallow dive and not too many currents. Lots of marine life to see. Many boats and snorkelers are there at times so can be very busy.

Advantage to Via Blanca - it's even closer to downtown than Parisio. Disadvantage - it's a far cry from Parisio in terms of the density of marine life. Some dive operators will take you to Via Blanca if they want something convenient for them and they think they might have taken you to Parisio one too many times. However, it's one of the least impressive sites in Cozumel (which would still make it above average almost anywhere else).

We visited during our port day in Cozumel. My son, 8 years old, was able to complete the entire 2 hour snorkel. We saw beautiful fish, seahorses, starfish, and rays. Our guide, "Izzy", was very patient and made sure the kids had fun. I was very pleased with the entire experience. You do need to be a somewhat strong swimmer to complete the snorkel. Great value.

This is another great wall dive in Cozumel. Ride the current at about 50 ft. Take in the beautiful coral and marine life. Having climbed many of the 14,000 ft mountains in Colorado, a dive along these reef walls has the same euphoric feeling.

Villa Blanca wall is so nice - it's a relaxing drift dive, not too deep, but because it's difficult to dive during the week, it makes for a rather untouched dive site. The slight current makes for better photography situations than some of the other sites. plus, if you're staying in the Hotel Cozumel/barracuda hotel area, your boat ride is super short!

Not too deep, an 80 lb air tank easily lasted 60 minutes, could have lasted longer. So much sea life to see.
