Many people have their photo taken sitting in or on the colorful COZUMEL letters. Souvenirs can be found here amongst the many vendors. Look around. Always barter. There is often free evening entertainment here on the weekends.

I always make sure to walk through the shops while in Cozumel, Viva Mexico is my favorite; we always find cheap souvenirs there. There are also great shops for jewelry, clothing, knick knacks, tequila and vanilla. One tip, NEVER use the ATM there, it charged...More

Shop, shop, and keep shopping! Great place with an extensive amount of local shops to choose from. Tip to save...don't purchase items immediately upon arrival, from the first ones, you'll find better prices at the shops located further in.

This area is good for shopping, but be sure to get away from Av. Rafael E. Melgar, the main drag along the shore. Much better prices and options are available along 5a Avenida Sur, especially south of Calle 2 Norte. A peanut butter coffee at...More

The stores are amazing, from clothes to sculptures, to wood working, and souvenirs. Even with alittle rain, it was fun. You can walk, take a taxi, and some in our group rented scooters and rode around the island.

Stopped here while on Honeymoon Cruise in November 2014. Plenty of shopping along the main walking strip although it's all catered to high end duty free shoppers. Nice to take in the sights and soak the local culture too. We should have spent the day...More

We loved walking through here and the central area had water sprinklers going - which was great to cool off! The Cozumel sign is wonderful for pictures. It was very clean and we bought lots of fun things (shoes, shirts, jewelry, cover ups, etc.). We...More

Be sure to visit on Sunday evening when the local families come out to celebrate! It is an event for the locals, sot tourists (although of course many tourists attend). Music, vendors, just a great way to experience local culture.

Great place to shop or eat at a restaurant, and many evenings I believe they have music or dancers. Very clean, and beautiful fountains , and the shop vendors are not "pushy" . Very close to the cruise terminals, so LOTS of people here, but...More

Depends on which cruise terminal. Carnival's terminal is a 10 minute flat rate cab ride to downtown Cozumel.
