My husband and I were scheduled to be in Cozumel on a cruise. We'd been there at least a dozen times before. Since we were traveling with 4 other folks, we wanted to find something a little more out-of-the-way and relaxed. Playa Palancar is just the ticket! It's about a 15-minute taxi ride from the International Pier. For a set... More

I have been here 3 times in my life and each time it was progressively worse. I realize this particular review is in May about my visit in December 2014, but what can I say, I am thinking about Cozumel because we will be there in a week!!! We will NOT be going here. This last visit I was amazed... More

If you like to dive then the only one to dive with is dive with Alison, believe me you will not be sorry, two tank dives and back in time for lunch with an 8am start

The beach and water was unbelievable this time. Good solid service but we were distracted by larger than normal crowds/groups.

If you plan to visit the beach make sure that you get a trip out to reef. Otherwise you wouldn't be able too see much from the shore. It is pretty much empty and muddy sea.

My friends and I visited this beach while in Cozumel for the day off a cruise ship. We enjoyed the beach and snorkeling. Very quiet and they had free tables with umbrellas and chairs which was nice. Good restaurant and cheap beer....had a great time here!!

A group of 6 got a driver for the day at $35 per person plus tip and explored a few beach options after settling for Playa Palancar. All inclusive was not worth it to us, prices here are so cheap that even with a full day of beers and food the bill was less than what an all inclusive package... More

We spent a day at this beach, it is a nice beach but it is very rocky. It is a seclude place so very quiet and not commercial at all. There is a little restaurant and we get to be served on the beach. Would recommend it if you want to visit a quiet beach. If you are arriving to... More

Went out with Pedro on a snorkel tour that was really nice. We went out on a boat and snorkeled a couple of the reefs south of town. Water depths were 20-30 feet, so if you are comfortable with it, you can dive down. At one point, as we where snorkeling along, there was a group of scuba divers below... More

Beach a bit rocky as you get toward the shoreline. Friendly staff and no cost to enter the beach. Hardly any congestion making a good place for families to enjoy.
