My husband and I went to Garrafon de Castilla. It is located right next door to the Garrafon national reef Park. Sneeze and you will miss the entrance. It is down a gravel driveway just after the park. It is 90 pesos per person this...More

This is a nice spot for a little snorkeling and swimming. It’s rocky so wear water shoes. Reasonable rates, lots of fish, be sure to buy some fish food and you’ll be swarmed. Experienced snorkelers might be disappointed but it’s good for kids and beginners.

I wanted to do a day of snorkeling, but without the crowds. I avoided Garrafon Park for that reason; also because I didn't need zip lining and all of the other things within the park. I read a couple of tips about snorkeling next door...More

If you need a quick snorkeling dip, try the Castillo. It's only 90 pesos per person for entry and then another 30 pesos for a big locker that fit our two day packs. The area has nice sea grass beds and some natural reef, but...More

This is a great spot to snorkel from shore. We saw lots of very friendly fish, a stingray and some very nice coral. It's very laid back and relaxing and the surf was fairly mellow even in March. The restaurant is tasty and they are...More

Like all places here is Isla, this beach is stunning. We arrived early shortly after opening and stayed only for 2 hours because we had other plans for lunch. The beach itself is small so I am guessing it gets packed later on the day...More

Great spot for snorkeling, laying out and catching some sun. Saw many many fishes, coral, and starfish.

3rd visit here. Don’t let the outside fool you. Inside there is a white sand beach, beautiful water, and snorkeling. The fish are plentiful so bring an underwater camera to get some great pics of the fish. Unfortunately, I didn’t have one with me or...More

Yes, used mask, mouth piece and flippers (the flippers for an extra charge, but I don't think it was too much). Next time though, we'll probably take our own - at least the mouth piece.
