All reviews second floor great murals murals depicting beautiful building the main square mayan history open courtyard two floors tourist office free entry art gallery worth a visit depicted fernando yucatan palacio plaza
I visit Merida often but never really came in here. I took time this time and went through every mural and signs. I appreciate the building itself, but reading the explanation of mural was very educational. Fascinating history. Of course murals and artifacts were beautiful.
What an excellent building. Free entry, lots of history and simply an amazing pictorial history of the Yucatan.
i took maybe an hour to check out each of the murals and exhibits on the second floor and the view to the Zocalo is great too....More
Easy and worthwhile to see the giant paintings about the history of the Yucatan. I personally didn't think the artwork was beautiful, but very interesting. The artwork is almost all in one large room, so it's not overwhelming like an art museum might be.
