This is an easy and interesting tour to take at the centro. Loved the murals and view of the streets from the upper level

Stunning murals about an important time in the Yucatan's history. It's a quick visit and well worth a climb to the second floor.

Murals and more murals depicting the history of Mexico. Interesting depictions and most have English descriptions. Free.

If you love history and art you may love this palace also. It has become a favorite of mine and never fails to impress me with it's charm and beauty!

This beautiful building is right in a corner of the main square, near the Cathedral. The building itself is amazing but the artwork is breathtaking. You will learn the history of the Spanish coming into the Mayan world in a very powerful way.

The courtyard and upper gallery are decorated with fine modern murals by a local artist depicting the history and culture of the region. Not a major visit but well worth half an hour of anybody's time

When you walk inside the Palacio you are not sure if it is just another government building or what however you are surprised by amazing painting and murals that surround the courtyard. It was very enlightening and beautiful.

You can just walk in and wander around looking at the murals. There are good english translations. The murals are a 25 year project to try and capture the painful history of the indigenous people of the Yucatan.

This location has several paintings (none of them are really impressive nor do they tell the city's history as in other Governor's palaces), but it does offer great views of the Gran Plaza.

It was rebuilt in 19th century to original archetectural specs. Famous murals were painted in the 1970's. A must see if your going to Merida
