Lovely boulevard and promenade with shaded broad sidewalks with many mansions. Several have been restored/renovated. Some are in need of repair. The area is changing. Nice vibe!

This avenue has the most rich mansion of the whole city or maybe the peninsula, this line up of mansions were the houses of the haciendas owners that get filthy rich out the green gold era, the henequen era

This is an impressive building in the city centre of the town of Merida and does not compare with the others in the locality as the structure is different from the buildings situated in this area.

I thought I was somewhere in Europe! Stunning lighting and views at night. Great shops and dining all along the avenue. Safe, clean. I loved the carriage ride!
