This is well worth a meal going to or from Uxmal. Good restaurant that opens at noon. Excellent and kindly service. The walk around the old sisal facilities was absorbing but you are pretty much on your own to figure out how fibers were harvested...More

Wonderful Sunday lunch buffet of the best of Yucatecan food. And very charming grounds for walking around in after lunch.

Sometimes you come across a place that completely takes you by surprise and Hacienda Orchil did just that. The journey to the restaurant was in itself an experience walking along palm lined paths with a few small places to stop and look at wares -...More

This hacienda is a beautiful place to go to. It has a beautiful amphitheater and a swimming pool to relax and refresh, before eating at the restaurant. It is a little scape from the ordinary. It has a cenote inside and a Mexican handcraft museum....More

Drove after being told they had a nice lunch there. Got there during lunch but were told that the lunch area was closed due to a private event. If we wanted to tour it would be 40 pesos per person. Staff was rude, not helpful...More

We just stopped to see what was happening and found a really pretty place. It is actually historical and has lots of old buildings that have been or are being restored to their former glory. We had wine and beer in the restaurant. Grounds are...More

Went as part of a full day tour of some cenotes. It was our lunch stop. The lunch was fine but overpriced. As for the hacienda there was no tour, no looking at rooms, decor etc. There was a cenote there but had a giant...More

Most dishes are Yucatecan. I think you will enjoy them thechi chen soup or sopa de Lima is excellent. I don't think you will have a problem. Everything is fresh and well presented and a variety.
