Beauty and serenity

Happened on to this beautiful place of worship by chance. How delightful it was to walk over the little bridge and step into such beauty!

Beautiful little church that overlooks the ocean. Full of fresh flowers 💐. It takes you away from the noise of the Quinta Avenida. Must see

We were happy to find this wonderful little chapel while strolling on 5th during our stay in Play del Carmen. Our next surprise was to find the Blessed Sacrament exposed for adoration! The beautiful chapel and wonderful surroundings of the ocean behind are so special! We have been to the chapel for lay presided mass on Sundays as well. If... More

We went to Christmas Day mass here, in English, said by a German priest who was warm and compassionate. The church is small so get there early is you want a seat. It's very pretty, a big picture window behind the altar looks out to sea. Worth a visit for a quiet moment from the hurly burly of Fifth Avenue.

Be sure to stop by this church some time during your visit. It will only take about ten minutes and it is very nice.

This small charming white church is minimalist without being uninteresting. In fact, take the time to see the window behind the alter it brings the surrounding into the church. It was a peaceful moment. It is a short walking distance from the Parque Fundadores, beach, ferry and Quinta Avenida

This is a nice little church in the middle of Playa right beside the beach and not far from the ferry walk. It is a beautiful building to look at but quite small so far as churches go. Not a whole lot to see but worth a visit it you are catholic or want to observe the religious customs of... More

This chapel is simple with no fancy ornaments. The benches are cherry oak color. The lights are covered with shells. At the altar behind the Christ the wall is all glass and overlooks to the ocean. This is one of the most beautiful churches I've ever seen. Simple like life should be. Make sure you stop by and say a... More

Share your humanity with the everyday people that struggle with life yet find happiness and joy in their view of life. The chapel stands at the foot of the Caribbean Sea where sailors risked their lives to fish and sail.

This Catholic church is very small. It is right on 5a avenida in Playa del Carmen. I live the view of the ocean behind the altar.
