The ruins are very well preserved, and beautiful to see. I suggest going with a guide so you understand the culture, and what it is you are actually looking at. Its about a one mile walk to the largest ruin, but much of the walk...More

Great site, not overrun by tourists or hawkers. Definitely worth the climb to the top, but be warned, vertigo can kick in once you are there. Great place to wanter around and explore in its natural state.

We used AlTourNative Tours for this wonderful day-long excursion. Paulio was our guide. As a native Mayan with an archeological degree, he was deeply knowledgeable about Mayan history and a well-known fixture in the village.
