lots of mangrove and snad wasye area hazards on this course...bring 2 sleeves of balls as fairways narrow............course in great condition...greens in great condition, but I felt slower than imagined.......pace of play acceptable...there are suddenly singles but they seem to hook up later with other group....renatl equipment nice....carts DO run out of juice quite regularly however ..they do switch quickly... My husband and I love the golf club at El Camaleon! My husband has played about a dozen rounds on this course, most of which I have written along in the cart for. The golf stuff is incredibly accommodating to couples, and does not charge a cart fee or spectator fee to ride along! Obviously this is an outstanding course,... More

Decent course, but overrated and not worth the $300 / round. Not particularly interesting, fairly straightforward course - was also expecting more in terms of views - you can only see the ocean from one of the holes (the 14th). Staff is ok, neither friendly nor unfriendly, sometimes they say they'll do something and never do it.

high end golfing experience. Golf course is in great shape and fun to play. tight fairways with dense jungle lead to a lot of lost golf balls. Restaurant after round was great, taco's and a cold beer were on point.

How disappointing! This is a nice course, but definitely not worth $300 / round! We had no less than 4 maintenance vehicles on each and every hole! They were everywhere - even in the middle of the fairway . They never stopped - or even slowed down when we were hitting. It was a circus - maintenance carts, tourist carts,... More

We just returned from playing this course, our 3rd time in recent years and were incredibly disappointed. This is a very expensive course to play and we expect a certain level of service, both on and off the course. We had lawn mowers on 16 of 18 holes - behind us or in front of us on almost every hole.... More

I called to make the tee time and explained that I have an apartment contract that all the courses in Playa Del Carmen accepts as local rate. The lady on the phone said they would accept this for local rate. Upon getting to the course the lady tells me that I have to pay full rate that they don't accept... More

Stayed at the Fairmont Mayacoba, called the course to find out what the greens fee would be and I was told that it would be $75 after noon. Upon reaching I was told at the pro shop that it's $129, upon mentioning that I had called earlier, I was rudely told maybe I had called another course. Good course but... More

Hello, the preferential rates for any Mayakoba guest are $199 and $129 at twilight. We do not offer any rates at $75, it might have been a misundertanding. However, thank you for your feedback and my apologies for the negative experience at the pro shop. More
