Great staff. Very friendly and accommodating. I had to make numerous changes due to illness and they worked through it all. Can't say enough about this group of people. Had a couple great dives too. Cenote was excellent. A couple shallow reef dives as well. Can't wait to do it again.

I just did the Discovery Scuba course with Scuba Libre and loved it. Mary was an awesome instructor and made everything simple and I felt very safe with her. The dives were beyond my expectations and now I'm looking into getting certified and can't wait to dive again.

We stayed at the Sandos Hotel and were very pleased to find such an amazing dive shop directly on site. The equipment is new and well maintained, the staff was so friendly and helpful and the dives were some of the best we ever did. Especially the cenotes with Rigo was our highlight. We will be back and can totally... More

Friendly folks, good equipment and a well-organized dive shop is what you will find at Scuba Libre (in any event in the Sandos Caracol branch, which I used for some 6 dives in February 2017). Dive groups can be anywhere between 1 and 8 divers plus 1-2 guides and there are morning and afternoon dive trips by boat right from... More

I end up in Playa and thought to have a few dives to relax. Wanted to do some overhead so i asked for cenotes caves. First dives at the first two cenotes were cool but crowded but in the second day i went just with Dario - one of the cenotes guide - and it was much better. Silvia also... More

I did 8 dives while at Sandos Caracel with CUBA libre on the resort. The staff was great and very professional. Always had a detailed plan and helped with gear. Missy the manager of the shop runs an awesome shop that looks after all your gear for you. I would feel safe any level of diving.

Had a great experience here. Did a recertification before my dive and Marysa was a great instructor. Met my dive guide Jean on the boat and he also was great.

Best snorkel! Completely worth every penny! Natalie was so sweet and took great photos of our family and our guides were so nice! They even took us to a second place to see starfish! They treated us very very good! A must do if you stay at sandos caraco eco resort! Thank you to the towel man for asking me... More

We had a good dive with Scuba Libre despite the weather we had. Unfortunately it had been windy and stormy for a few weeks so the waters were churned up and visibility wasn't great but our Dive Master did a great job. It was our first ocean dive (we trained in a lake) but we felt safe the whole time,... More

We really enjoyed out trips that we did through Scuba Libre. Big props to Hugo Garcia, he set up 2 great excursions for us. We went snorkeling and got to swim with sting rays, turtles, and lots of fish. The water was so clear. I don't remember all of the names but Marianna was the photographer on the boat trip.... More
