I have several problems with this tour, much of it revolving around misrepresentations. 1) The ticket seller (some guy in a dive and snorkel shack working for commissions) said the snorkeling reef during the Biosphere Tour was the second largest coral reef after the Great Barrier Reef. That is total baloney. The reef was not that large and I did... More

Senior Salvator, our tour guide to Chichén Itzá, was very-well versed in the general history of the region and prehistoric indigenous culture, filling the drive to the ruin with information, maps, reproductions of Mayan codex and folded brochures illustrating the local animal life. He even played a tune on a small, turtle-shaped Ocarina for us. Salvator also remained attentive to... More

We made 2 tours, the first with Alejandra and second with Hugo. Those 2 guides were excellent because of their enthusiasm and knowledge. We liked the fact that we were in small groups (around 6 persons). We had great lunches and the transportations were safe.

We ended up being the only people on the tour that morning. It was awesome! Hugo, our tour guide was SUPER knowledgable and made us feel very comfortable and safe. The van ride was comfortable and cool. After the lagoon swim, we made our way to the cenotes. Before we went underground we were fed the most delicious granola bars... More

We really enjoyed our day tour in the jungle with a cenote swim and the cultural visit to Coba, where we climbed the pyramid with our baby! All the activities can be done with a baby! All the organization was excellent (pick up and drop off at the hotel, water, snacks, rain coats, lunch...) you only have to enjoy the... More

I thoroughly enjoyed my tour of the caves and snorkeling in the lagoon. The tour is called Mayan Underworld. It was not only scenic, but the tour guides were extremely knowledgeable, which made the experience educational and enlightening. The food was very good as well. I recommend this tour.

Hugo was our guide and he was very knowledge, fun and fantastic. Highly recommend! We appreciated the air conditioned van ride, lunch at a good restaurant and competent boat captains.

Miguel took my husband and me on a private birding tour in a nearby traditional community. He was an amazing guide. He knew every bird by its song and used this knowledge to find two different trogon species, green jays, 12 warbler species, lots of hummingbirds and a tawny-crested greenlet, among the more than 60 species we saw in our... Miguel took me on a wonderful morning's birding. We started in the village of Chunyaxche and walked around the roads an trails in the area. The trees were dripping with warblers and there were plenty of Hummingbirds (both favorites for me). There were endemics to see and a great variety of species. We then moved on to the local Muyil... Magnificent Xmas Dayntour - entertained and educated by our superb guide Alejandra: we were fortunate to spend 1/2 hour with the howler monkeys and to see some exquisite blue morpho bitterflies. Loved the zipwire and the cenote swim/exploration. Very impressed indeed with the depth and breadth of information provided by Alejandra and the local guides. Also the pace of the... More
