beacon fell is on our door step, but still great to see. visit in the late afternoon and as the light fades you will quite often see the deer sneaking out to feed on the edge of the woods, as long as you stay quiet....More

Nice cafe,clean toilets ample car parking. There are short gentle walks and quite taxing walks They are all mostly circular ended up at the top with spectacular views

This is a lovely walk for all the family it was very muddy in places and you had to watch were you walk but a definite must on a lovely dry day with a picnic
